My new work station.

My darling husband is wonderful! Since I am working towards developing a photography business as well as teaching he felt that I needed somewhere that looks functional in spite of me! We had the laptop already and the stand was my mothers day present as was the keyboard. The new additions are the file drawers pen holders, shelves and an entire wall in our dining room. This was all done as a surprise while I was at work! Oh I love this man!

We still have a frame to put up next to the pin board but I haven't decided on the photos to go in it yet! You would think that it would be easy with the amount of photos I take but I have found that I am getting picky at which ones I display (not that wasn't before!)

The Wedding

I dont think that I have been so scared ok terrified and nervous all at once since maybe my own wedding. I am doing some (most) of the photography at the wedding today so that I can both document the day for Jill and Bruce and Mikaylah but also gain experience as a photographer helping towards my portfolio building as well. I have stressed that I need extra cards, extra batteries, another camera body and jsut that the photos will turn out ok. I was up at 3am this morning and then went around early to get some setup shots. I can see that I still need to work on detail shots to make them effective rather than snappy but whew we survived the day and now it is time to edit it. I went ok, terrified by the end of the day that now that it is over, that I didn't do a great job. I keep putting so much pressure on myself but Daz helped with that by not letting me look at the photos until he had looked for me!

I Was really lucky to have Joc's daughter Emily happy to come for a photo shoot this morning! Of course we woke up and it was overcast and really threatening to rain. We went to the botanical gardens then down the street. WE had a heap of fun and the photos were great. Here are a couple of her photos.
