The Blue Door

We went out to breakky this morning to meet with some people from Daz's work. WE had a lovely yummy breakky (pics later) and when the boys had had enough we went exploring to see what we could find. Basically Mummy wanted to take photos of the boys in different settings! They checked out buildings, graffiti paintings and then we found this awesome door. It had graffiti on it but at least it was just tagged rather than the bad language on the better looking one! anyway I got about a dozen shots and 5 or 6 were pretty good I thought. There were a few technical thing I am still working on  (like better focusing for one with the new lens) but here are my favourite that I edited tonight

Puddle Jumper

This week has been a bad bloggy week! I have all the photos ready but not the inclination to post! anyway I am going to start my new day with a selective colour photo that makes me smile! we finally had rain today and Tyler got out in his rainbow boots. I grabbed the brolly to protect the camera because the boys LOVE to jump in the puddles. T has been watching the clouds all week saying that we get a BIG rain and we get a BIIIIIIGGGG puddle we can jump in it! well he was in heaven today, he got his BIIIIIIGGGG puddle, and he jumped!!

 

ok I have to convert my RAW's to JPEG'S but there are puddle jumping evidence for later. that is a job for tomorrow!

My little Sportacus/dragon rider!

Caden is VERY into lazy town as I have said before but this morning he is now also a dragon rider (after watching a new cartoon!) and I have finally had a little bit of an aha moment with my photography that things are coming together a little bit. can I explain how I get it? not yet but I am feeling my way!

Rose play

At the park the other day I saw my favourite coloured rose - yellow with red/pink edges. I was given one of these rose bushes for my first mother's day but due my very poor plant management I lost it last year. So when I saw this I had to take a photo of it. then of course I had to have a little play with different effects  and presets in lightroom just because I could!

 

I think that 2 and 5 are my favourites!
