Good times

The last couple of days have probably been one of the best Christmas' we have had in quite a while. Usually there is either tension and squabbles or outright fights, tears etcetera but this year was lovely. We were awake early but C was fantastic in waiting for T to wake up and coming in for a snuggle first to us then G'ma and Papa. Presents and playing was had by all. Lunch is usually a big fussy affair with a lot of food everywhere and kids are cranky and everyone is tired from being up early. This year we just picked at food when we were hungry - I just had a prawn roll... mmmm yummy! The boys had ham and cheese, cabanossi and bickies. Everyone else had what it was they wanted form cold ham and salad to prawn rolls and of course followed by chocolate. IMG_1021

We didn't even get the pav done until after dinner. This Daz was in fine form in the kitchen today with cooking a perfect roast Lamb and pork - superb crackling! We set the boys us their own special Santa table at the end and they played on their computers till dinner was ready! WE were a bit looser on decorations this year because Papa forgot to bring the crackers and we were too lazy to wash the Christmas plates up.

and this was followed up by Boxing day being much quieter. we tried to keep the boys a bit quieter today because they are just exhausted and they were better for it. they love the dominoes train that they got for Christmas and that kept them entertained a lot of today!
